SPACE TECHNOLOGY
The University of Alaska Space Systems Engineering Program is developing a CubeSat
Communication Platform (CCP) to "…demonstrate an advanced CubeSat radio communication
system to improve information throughput capabilities for CubeSats while meeting the unique
needs of the CubeSat platform."
An essential part of this mission is the ground station, which will send commands and receive
telemetry on the Ultra High Frequency (UHF) band radio and receive experimental data from the
S band radio.
