Systematic Literature Review of Water and Sanitation Projects in Rural Alaska

Barbara Johnson

This research project is part of an effort to establish the baseline of water and sanitation (Wat-San) policy-relevant metrics. The first goal of this project is to is to produce a systematic literature review to generate a detailed overview of the work done in the Alaskan Wat-San field since 1950. The second goal is to disseminate the overview, making it easily accessible to researchers, Wat-San practitioners, and other stakeholders. This will be done by making the results easily searchable online, compiling the literature review into a manuscript for submission to a peer reviewed journal and by presenting the results at conferences.
