Bi-propellant liquid-fueled rocket engine development and testing for the UAA Rocketry Team

The University of Alaska Anchorage will continue to build a self-sustaining rocketry program with the goal of developing a propulsion system for future liquid sounding rockets to compete in collegiate competitions and set the amateur altitude record. Rocket engine development will occur through a combination of inter-disciplinary capstone engineering projects. Program continuity will be maintained by incorporating undergraduate teams into additional NASA challenges and undergraduate research projects. The program will provide opportunities for undergraduate research and increase recruitment of undergraduate students into STEM fields.
