NASA Summer Internships of up to $7,300 (+$1000 travel stipend) will be awarded through a competitive process. NASA Summer Internships are selected by NASA through a competitive process. Alaska Space Grant sponsors selected students. Students receiving awards in past competitions may apply and receive awards for subsequent competitions.
NASA offers professional development and leadership opportunities to students through their Academy and Internship programs. Students may view all available opportunities on one website and apply for multiple internships with one application. https://intern.nasa.gov/ is a NASA-wide system for the recruitment, application, selection and career development of undergraduate and graduate students primarily in science, technology, engineering and mathematics disciplines. Opportunities for students in other disciplines are also available. If you apply here students can be considered for all types of NASA internship, fellowship, and scholarship opportunities in one system. A single internship or fellowship application places students in the applicant pool for consideration by mentors for all NASA internships or fellowships.
