PROJECT: The Monster Lobe: A Real World, Alaskan STEM Design Project for the Middle School Classroom

Alaska middle school teachers and their students can learn the skills and dispositions embodied in the STEM movement by developing a solution to a real Alaska-specific science and engineering problem--one that vexes scientists and engineers in Alaska today.
PROJECT: Encounter Earth

Encounter Eart is to train and develop a network of middle school and high school teachers focused on integrating NASA data and experiences into the classroom through the newly updated "Encounter Earth" simulated space mission at the Challenger Learning Center of Alaska.
PROJECT: CryoConn in the Arctic

The Alaska Space Grant Program (ASGP) in partnership with NASA will host CryoConn, a three day "teacher as scientist" cryosphere science-focused professional development workshop for Alaska teachers.
