Informal Education Grants

The goal of the Informal Education program is to provide training in support of education resources that use NASA themes and content and provide opportunities for professional development of informal or formal education providers. Women, faculty from underrepresented groups, and early career faculty are especially encouraged to apply.

ELIGIBILITY

  • Competition is open to personnel at an ASGP Affiliated Institution.
  • All participants receiving direct support must be U.S. citizens.

AWARD

  • Grant requests can be made up to a maximum of $5,000 and must be matched 1:1 through non-federal funds.
  • The award may not be used for international travel.

APPLICATION SUBMISSION
Completed applications must be submitted in ONE pdf doc to the Alaska Space Grant Program office (rebecca.lees@gi.alaska.edu). Travel funds are available on a first come first serve basis and the application period is ongoing.
